Walnut Creek Downtown launched its first Explore Walnut Creek Savings Guide October 1st, 2020.
As we navigate the road ahead, the Walnut Creek Downtown Business Association (WCD) is working hard to keep our downtown vital and flourishing. We invite our Members and active Associate Members to participate in this brand-new program designed to stimulate business in the downtown.
The Explore Walnut Creek Savings Guide consists of a coupon book filled with 40 promotions and discounts from local downtown shops, services and restaurants. The coupon ads were free of charge to each participant. The Guides are now available to purchase for $30 at WalnutCreekDowntown.com. The majority of coupons are redeemable through December 31, 2020. The Guides will be promoted via social media, WCD’s public weekly E-newsletter, the WCD website, The Patch, City of Walnut Creek Newsletter, Rossmoor News, and in select downtown retailers including Downtown Walnut Creek Ace Hardware and 360 Gourmet Burrito.
Our downtown business community has been greatly affected by the economic impact of COVID-19. The goal of the Explore Walnut Creek Savings Guide is to provide our businesses with an advertising opportunity during these challenging times and encourage visitors to shop and eat locally. The Guides make a perfect gift item for the holidays. Proceeds will support WCD and its continuing efforts to serve the downtown business community.
