Chris spent nearly a decade building a reputation as one of the Bay Area’s most respected HVAC professionals, known for his craftsmanship, integrity, and commitment to customers. In 2012, he co-founded a company that grew to nearly $10 million in revenue, and grew into a large, well-established operation. But in 2016, an unexpected and deeply challenging turn of events changed everything. Overnight, the security they had built was gone. “I couldn’t believe what was happening,” Chris recalls. “We lost income, health coverage, even our vehicles. I started to feel defeated.” That feeling didn’t last long. Christina reminded him of who he was—and what they could build together. “We founded this company with the freedom to help people whenever they needed us, without limitations,” Christina shares. “Even though it was scary, I believed in Chris and supported him every step.” From that moment, Perfect Star was born.
Christina named the company, and together they shaped a vision rooted in family values and community care. From the start, Perfect Star wasn’t just about heating and cooling—it was about giving back. Their Perfect Star Gives Back program reflects their commitment to supporting local families and community initiatives. “Being able to give back to the people who give so much to us… that is the greatest reward of all,” Christina says. Chris’s passion for the trade runs deep. “I have a passion for the comfort business, and for keeping people comfortable,” he says with a smile. “When I walk into a home and help someone feel comfortable again, I feel like Superman.” But his greatest joy comes from watching his team thrive—buying homes, starting families, and building lives they’re proud of. “Teaching others this trade is one of the biggest reasons I do what I do,” Chris explains. “I love to develop people and lead from the front.” Today, Perfect Star has grown from a dream born in adversity to a trusted name serving Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
