As I’m writing this, my wife and son have just arrived to compete in the AKC National Dog Show held in Orlando,Florida. My boy, Justice Helton, and his Grand Champion Bitch, Larcan’s Bailey’s on Ice, finished 2nd in the nation for Owner Handler last year. My wife and her baby, Larcan’s Meritage Mele, finished 4th in the Nation.
We chose to only travel with one this time. We have a couple of Lagotto Romagnolos, also known as the truffle dogs. I’m super stoked for their weekend ahead. It’s about the journey not the destination. Though they do perform in the ring, they’re loved family pets at the same time.
