If so, you’re invited to join author of 16 books, Ana Galvan, for a writer’s salon.
Ana, a native of Spain who has lived in Concord since 2005, has been writing since 2014 and self-publishing her novels and poetry collections through Amazon.
Through Mt. Diablo Adult Education, she offers a place for writers to come together and build community. Her goal is to help people get their stories written down. She uses the Pomodoro technique where you are given prompts and write for 20 minutes at a time. These writings become springboards for the stories you want to tell. The class meets in Pleasant Hill, and the fall session begins on Sept. 14. Visit mdae.mdusd.org for the class schedule and to sign up. The course is repeated again in the winter session.
